E! VIP has returned with a special tribute episode to the late SA Hip Hop star Riky Rick.
On December 5th, Hype reported that NBCUniversal International Networks and Direct-To-Consumer announced the second season of its original production, E! VIP, returning to E! Africa (DStv channel 124) later this year.
According to the report, the 12-part series would open with a special episode dedicated to the late SA Hip Hop star Riky Rick who passed earlier this year. The episode premiered last Sunday, 11 December 2022, at 20:00 CAT.
It set the pace for the full series, which is expected to air weekly from 8 January 2023 at 20:00 CAT. Also, the episodes will be available on Universal+ immediately after they air on E! Africa. The episode featured some of Rick’s friends and collaborators, including Bash, Musa Keys, Mihlali, Tresor, Sjava, Nasty C, Ms. Cosmo, Mome, Tall Ass Mo, Boity, Costa Titch, Nadia Nakia, Stilo Magolide and TXC.
The coming episodes will explore the lives and cares of stars from South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria. They include Sarkodie, Jo-anne Reyneke, Daniel Churchill, Boity Thulo, Yvonne Nelson, Gert-Johan Coetzee, Nasty C, Kate Kamau, Yemi Alade, Mihlali, and Fireboy.
